DefenSea Consultoria participated in the first phase of the selection process managed by the Brazilian Navy to obtain four Corvettes of the Tamandaré Class.
DefenSea advised STM Savunma Teknolojileri Mühendislik ve Tic. A.Ş., a Turkish company that has submitted a proposal based on the ADA Class Corvettes, operating in the Turkish Navy since 2011. These vessels have already participated in several multinational operations in various parts of the world.
STM selected as partners Brasfels shipyard, which has its own area for the construction of military ships in Angra dos Reis (RJ); Thales and Omnisys Engenharia; and the Ezute Foundation.
STM project provides a hull design with Stealth characteristics, and meets all operational requirements established by the Brazilian Navy, including local content.
STM’s commercial technical proposal was delivered to the Brazilian Navy on the morning of June 18, 2018, attended by representatives of DefenSea Consultoria.
